"It's Chinese New Year!"

Miss Rabbit brings in lots paper lanterns.
兔子小姐带来了很多闪纸。

She is going to be a helper today.
她今天是过来帮忙的。

"Chinese New Year is about family and good fortune",says Madame Gazelle.
“中国新年关于家庭对美好未来的祝愿”，羚羊夫人说。

"Let's celebrate together!"
“让我们一起庆祝吧！”

Everybady cheers"hooray!
大家都欢呼“万岁！

The children make Chinese New Year cards.
孩子们做中国新年贺卡。

"Why are all the cards red?"wonders Peppa.
“为什么所有的卡片都是红色的？”佩奇惊讶的问。

"In China,red is a very lucky colour,"replies Madame Gazelle.
“在中国，红色是幸运色，”羚羊夫人回答。

"My dress is red",squeals Peppa.
“我的衣服是红色的，佩奇尖叫。

"I must be extra lucky!"
“我一定非常幸运！”

"Is anyone feeling hungry?" asks Miss Rabbit,bringing out a tray of food.
“有人觉得饿了吗？”兔子小姐问，拿出一盘食物。

"We are!"shout all the children.
“我们！”所有的孩子叫。

There are sweeties,tangerines and little biscuits called fortune cookies.
有糖果，橘子和一种叫幸运饼干。

"I like Chinese New Year", decides Danny,picking up two sweets.
“我喜欢中国新年”，丹尼坚定的说，拿起两块糖。

In the afernoon,Madame Gazelle helps everyone get dressed in smart clothes.
到了中午，羚羊夫人帮助每个人都穿上漂亮的衣服。

Madame Gazelle shows them pictures of China.
羚羊夫人展示了他的中国的照片。

"This house is called a pagoda,"she says ."Repeat after me!"

"Pah-go-da!"giggles George.
“宝~塔！乔治咯咯地笑。

Madame Gazelle claps her hands.

"Now..."she smiles."it is time for the Chinese New Year parade!"

"Wahhhhhh!" cries George. George points out of the window.

There is a scary dragon in the playground!
操场上有一条可怕的龙！

"Don't worry,George,"say Peppa.
别担心，乔治，”佩奇说。

"It is only a pretend dragon."
“这只是一种假装的龙。”

"look underneath,"whispers Madame Gazelle.
“看看下面，”羚羊夫人低声说。

Miss Rabbit peeps her head out.

"Hello ,George!"she says.
“你好，乔治！”她说。

The mummies and daddies arrive.
妈妈和爸爸来了。

The sky lights up with fireworks.
烟火照亮了天空。

Pop!Pop!Pop!
噼里啪啦！

"We got here just in time,"says Diddy Pig.
“我们刚到这里，”猪爸爸说。

"Wasn't that lucky?"
“那不是很幸运吗？”

"Yes it was,Daddy,"giggles Peppa."

"Happy Chinese New Year!"
